What Has Patrick Been Up To

For the past two months the news and site updates have dropped dramatically because I’ve been busy completing a number of different projects (some of which have been added to the portfolio section). A few of the highlights were re-branding a New York City printing company named Prestone Printing (check out the portfolio section for some of the designs), designing and implementing a Flash front-end for a New Jersey design agency named DM.2 Design that can be found at DM2DESIGN.COM, designing and implementing four Metropolitan Life Flash brochures that should end up on the site soon, AND designing a new *NSYNC basketball DVD package and menu system!

Yeah, it’s been pretty busy around the studio lately and it seems like the tempo will stay high through the Summer as a slew of new projects have begun presenting themselves within the past few weeks.

However, due to all this work, some of the personal projects like WHY MAGAZINE and the Spaces Project have had to take a back seat for awhile. Hopefully some scheduling changes being made should rectify that situation moving those project along in the near future.

The Spaces Project

I’m beginning work on a small print/web project about creative people’s work spaces. The interest came to me when I visited a friend of mine’s studio in Queens (Ziv at Fluxure for everyone who knows him) last weekend. It was very interesting how hugely different our spaces were and reflected our work preferences.

To be included in the project, please email spaces@patrickbennett.us no more than 5 .jpg files of your creative space at 600×450 pixels with the word “Spaces” in the subject along with a brief description of who works in the space, what is created there and how the space supports the work. (It would be helpful if there is at least 1 overall photo and then a couple detail shots.)

This project is wide open to anyone in a creative field, so please pass along the information to anyone you’d like. The more photos received, the better. Check back here for more information or email any questions or comment.
